Crash before takeoff

Well, what can I say? She was beautiful. She was intelligent. She was part of the esoteric circles which tend to set me at a distance from most of society. She and I shared so many opinions and experiences. There was this natural attraction I've never experienced before. What could possibly go wrong?
Oh, I know. How about cyclical 'trust issues', in which she doesn't know me well enough to trust me and doesn't trust me enough to get to know me better? That would work.
I invested time, emotional energy and considerable amounts of patience and my own trust into building something good, and in the end she was only leading me on. (edit: re-written to preserve appearance of sanity) I am so tired of all the things I need in my life being snatched away apparently without reason or adequate notice. Yes, I know life isn't fair, but I used to like believing that it was unfair pretty much in equal balance for everyone, not so damned lumpy.

I've only had a quick chance to browse your gallery, but from what I've seen so far there's some nice work in there.

Be as loud as you can while in life, cause if you don't, no one will be able to hear you when you have left.
You are not a human being having a spiritual experience, but a spiritual being having a human experience.

I'm also a collector of blades, so seeing what you have here just about made me salivate.
I'll watch you, because I want to see more great stuff in the future.
